The purpose of the Sharmallison Scholarship is to provide financial aid to students across the United States and Guyana in order to achieve access to higher education.

This Scholarship program directly aligns with our mission to narrow the disparity in educational opportunities.

What are the features of the program?

Our team selects motivated and dedicated students from across the globe to join the Abraham’s Tent family through our Sharmallison Scholarship Program.

  • Through this program, students receive full 4 year funding, conditional upon financial need and achieving a 3.5 GPA or above each semester

  • The Sharmallison Scholarship offers a financial aid package tailored to each student's individual financial needs, encompassing tuition, course material expenses, and more

  • Our team maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with every student to identify the most effective means of supporting them throughout their undergraduate journey

  • Reopen scholarship applications

  • Provide Scholarships to at least 10 new students

We are in the process of raising funds for future scholarship awards. We have maintained the tuition payments for the past four years for our awardees.

If anything as a first gen student this money helps me have the time to put myself in a more equitable position with my classmates.
